April Stay-in Session – Ripple of Kindness

Take part in a project inspiring over 10 million acts of kindness

Make an Origami heart

Join us to make an origami heart with a special message inside. Discover some origami magic by transforming a 2D flat surface into a 3D shape made up of many different polygons. Just by folding paper!

Take photos of your creation and share them with us on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram – tagging @mathsontoast or email a picture to info@mathsontoast.org.uk

Pay it Forward Day

Use your origami heart on this year’s Pay it Forward Day on 28th April. Pop your creation in in an envelope and post or deliver it to someone! Perhaps ask them to do the same?

Or you could use your origami heart know-how to take part in the Mental Health Collective’s #KindnessByPost project.

What you'll need

A square piece of paper
Pen / colouring pens to write your message/decorate your heart
Envelope (optional)

Instructions on how to make your origami heart will be added to this page soon. In the meantime you can practise your paper folding skills with some of our other origami activities!
