Week 1 – Make a Paper Boat

Make a paper boat, decorate it and see how long it can float for!

Paper folding is a great way to discover nets, construction and shape transformation.

With this activity you will:

  • Explore shapes and their properties
  • Create 3D shapes from 2D material
  • Practice your estimating, predicting, measuring + recording skills

Download the activity sheet and watch the ‘How To’ videos below. We’ve made two videos for you – a short demo and a longer step-by-step guide.
