As the half-term break approaches, we know parents and carers are busy searching for fun, low-cost entertainment ideas. We can’t always rely on the weather behaving so if you are after a fun, educational indoor activity, our series of ‘How To…’ creative maths videos is perfect. It’s called Maths on Toast Bites.
There are 5 films altogether, each inviting children to engage with maths in a creative hands-on way such as making fascinating, surprising shapes like a hexaflexagon and building a sturdy structure using cocktail sticks and midget gems!
We are encouraging families to watch a different film and then try the activity together over the half-term break – we’re calling this the ‘How To Half-Term Challenge!’
