Build a TetraTREEdron

Calling all families, communities and schools! We want you to build a tree, with a mathematical twist! Discover how to build a tetrahedron from a net, then join 4 (or more!) tetrahedrons to make a Sierpinski tetrahedron. We call these TetraTREEdrons!

Materials you will need

  • Tetrahedron Template (available to download below)
  • Plain paper, pencil and ruler
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Colouring pens, pencils or crayons

A simple alternative

You don’t have to make a TetraTREEdron. Why not turn a single tetrahedron into a simple hanging festive decoration?
