Make a Rocket for Star Wars Day!

May the 4th be with you.

To celebrate Star Wars day, we have a great creative maths activity for any space lover.

Make a rocket simply using some paper and straws, then measure how far you can launch it!

Why is this maths?

Because you are measuring the length of objects and distances.

Have fun seeing who can launch their rocket the furthest. You can record the distance of your launch and see if you get it further next time.

We have a range of rockets for you to choose from, whether your favourite is the Millenium Falcon or X-Wing Star Fighter, or you could get creative and design your own!

See the link below to find out how to make your own, and don’t forget to share your creations with us on social media @mathsontoast 🚀 #CreativeMaths
