Schools online sessions

We run Schools online sessions throughout the year to encourage schools to take part in our projects and to support them to encourage families to get involved.

We generally run these sessions during Maths Weeks but we aim to have an offer for schools each term to join us for some activities.

Home educated families are welcome to join our schools sessions.

What does a session look like?

The sessions usually last no longer than 45mins and you will be provided with any video links or resources you need to print in advance. We will start with an introduction and instructions for the activity and then give you time to work on the activity.

You will be emailed a Teams or Zoom link the day before the event (to the email address that you gave on registration). We ask for cameras to be on when you join the call so that we can confirm who is attending (you are then welcome to turn them off) and we will ask you to stay on mute until the very end, when you will be able to unmute yourselves to show us what you have been creating.

We are hoping to record our next Schools online session, but will only record our staff and will stop recording once we ask schools to share what they have made.

Dates

Date: Monday 13th November at 9:30am

If you would like to book your school or class onto this session, please register your interest through this form and we will send you log in details in advance of the session.

This registration form will close on Friday 10th November at 8pm.

Terrific Triangles

During Maths Week England this year, we will be exploring triangles and the number 3!
Join us and explore the number 3 through triangles and 3-sided shapes. Create a piece of artwork using triangles and discover how a triangle can magically transform from a 2D to a 3D shape and make your own class TetraTREEdron.
